1.Do you read books– Yes, do love reading books.
what are you currently reading – Ego Is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday.
and why the book- Ego Is the Enemy explains how people tend to think that the world revolves around them. The “it’s all about me” approach comes from the ego, and this thinking distorts failures and successes because the ego is so subjective. When efforts fail, the ego blames everyone else and stresses out.
This provocative book shows us how the ego can get in the way of success, satisfaction, and true happiness. When we let our ego get the best of us, it can lead to self-sabotage, and it often makes it harder for us to listen, learn, and grow.
- What will we find you doing when not working? I am mostly on the move for new adventure travel experiences and to calm my mind. I travel with my family or with my friends. Most of all, I like to travel by car and spend a little time at different places. Although long journeys are tiring for me sometimes, but that doesn’t stop me. First of all, it’s always nice to stay in a different place for a change. Second, I’m interested in seeing new sights, exploring different cultures, traditions and such. Third, I love to spend time in beautiful places and admire the beauty of the natural attractions, such as mountains, waterfalls, oceans, forests, valleys, hills, wild animals etc.
- Do you speak any foreign language apart from English? Chinese.
Although I clearly have no interest towards Chinese music/drama. I found it a fascinating challenge because of the way it uses tone within a syllable to make the meaning of a word.
So for me, the reasons for choosing a particular foreign language seem to be focused at least partly on availability. I can speak and write Chinese.
4. What motivates you on a day that’s a bit grey? My family motivates me. I can always depend on my family for words of encouragement and somehow, they always sense when I’m not myself.
