For the longest time Africa has been having industry affiliated events being organized in the region by Eventus international, it is clear that Eventus has mastered the region, what the people require in terms of events and without a doubt for the attendants, they have gotten back value from the events.
Four years ago, the region hosted ICE Africa in Johannesburg, this happened once, all eyes were on Sigma if they were going to make a comeback to the region after holding their first ever event in Nairobi last year. Well Sigma has affirmed that they are in Africa to stay, this time they have their second event in Cape Town, Question is why not Nairobi again though from the look of things, Cape Town is an excellent location, and we cannot wait for 2025 to see if there will be a change of venue. We took time to analyze and compare last year’s floor plan and this year’s, one thing is clear this year has more exhibitors already registered for the event, a good show.
For sure Africa is the pretty woman now that everyone is trying to woo, this March the African Gaming Expo inaugurates in Lagos, they aim to facilitate collaboration and exchange of ideas among industry experts and stakeholders within Africa and the global market, this will be an interesting one because it will be held within similar timelines with Sigma Africa, we eagerly wait to see how the attendants will navigate on either attending both or either of them.
Kenya will equally see a first of an event with Gaming Tech Summit Africa happening in June this year, many anticipated the event to take place last year then it got postponed to this year.
Last but not least Ghana, is the newest host location by Eventus changing the location for its famous Sports betting West Africa Summit from Nigeria to Ghana. This is a must attend for investors who have keen interest in Ghana,
With the new entrants and continuing event organizers it is clear that Africa is yet to see multiple events being organized in different regions, all eyes are on SBC to see if they will step foot in this region and Clarion, if they will make a comeback to the region.
Cheers To Africa!
